COVID-19 Symptoms

Dear Tiger Families,
Springfield Local is committed to the safety and health of our students and staff. Friday night We were informed of another confirmed case of COVID-19 in a staff member at Springfield Intermediate. This case is not connected to the first case.
 
Cleaning and disinfecting of the exposed locations have been completed.  
We are working with the Mahoning County Health Department to conduct contact tracing.  

Please continue adhering to the district's initiatives of monitoring symptoms, masking, hand washing, social distancing, and other protocols in place to keep everyone safe. Dear Tiger Families,

Springfield Local is committed to the safety and health of our students and staff. We want to inform you that we received information about confirmed case of COVID-19 in a non-teaching staff person at Springfield Intermediate. Cleaning and disinfecting of the exposed locations have been completed.  

We have been working collaboratively with the Mahoning County Health Department to conduct contact tracing.  The Health Department  concluded that two other staff members meet the ODH or CDC definition of contact, which is 6' or less apart for 15 minutes or more. The Health Department will determine if these individuals need to quarantine.
