It's a tradition that Springfield Elementary families look forward to every year, Christmas Tree Lane! This year the tradition lives on but looks a little different.
Fourth Grade students usually spend a lot of time decorating their Christmas Trees with the help of their parents, but this year because of Covid-19, parents couldn't come into the school to help their children decorate their trees. Instead, students worked independently on their trees. The big reveal of Christmas Tree Lane was also modified because of Covid-19. Normally, students line their trees up in the cafeteria, and sing Christmas carols as the entire school and fourth grade families walk through the display. In place of this, individual pictures of students with their Christmas Tree were taken and will be used for a slideshow.
