Tweeting Tigers!
System User

SLHS Parents and ALL Tigers,

We all know how important school communication is and in an effort to make it easier for you to keep track of important information and events that are taking place at SLHS, we have created a Twitter account - click on this link.

Access Twitter from your home computer -- or even better – on-the-go through your smart phone or other mobile device. Signing up takes less than two minutes and when you do you'll have access to important reminders, school information, special events, happy news, and re-Tweets from other educational institutions and organizations that you follow on Twitter.

So far, I have Tweeted some great videos and as the school year unfolds, I will be Tweeting even more! Although we'll still be communicating through the traditional ways this school year, you can now check your Twitter every day to stay instantly connected and get short, to-the-point information! Best of all, you'll be able to reply to other parents that are already connected through our Twitter account to volunteer, organize special events, and keep track of what's happening at our AMAZING high school.

Updated Student Handbook
Gjergj Haxhiu

SLHS New Student Handbook

The overall goal of New Student handbook is to provide an exciting, but highly structured educational environment which challenges and motivates the academic and social skills of ALL Tigers. Along with accountability, our New Student Handbook stresses our core values, character and academic achievement to a person’s success.

This Student Handbook provides information for you that will improve your educational experience. These are the expectations for your behavior in school and at all school events. Use the handbook as a guide and refer to it throughout the school year. It is important that you read the information and become familiar with this Student Handbook. The handbook and the policies of the school board are what is used to guide daily operation of our high school. Have a great 2022-2023 school year!

Serving you,

Dr. H -

Medical Emergency / Contact Form
Gjergj Haxhiu

Dear SLHS Parents/Guardians,

I hope that you and your family are having a safe and healthy summer.  We are quickly coming upon the start of the 2022-2023 school year.

In this time of constant change, it is of utmost importance that we can communicate with you in a timely manner.  This is a friendly reminder from your new principal to complete the Emergency Contact Form before school starts.

REMEMBER, please answer all the questions.

Provide your current phone numbers and email addresses in order for our staff and teachers to communicate with you.  Our ability to share information or contact you is very important.

You should anticipate that our teachers, staff, and me will communicate with you through text, emails, phone calls etc. Remember to check the SLHS webpage regularly for school and district-wide information, alerts, and events.

I thank you in advance for completing the Medical Emergency / Contact Form before school starts.   If you have any questions, please contact our school office or me at 330-542-3626 #112.

My staff and I look forward to seeing you soon.

Enjoy the rest of the summer - serving you,

Dr. H
